Hey everyone,
We’re extremely grateful to have Leo Rodgers on the podcast for this episode. As many of you know, Leo is an amputee and devoted fixed-gear cyclist. Having lost a leg, however, has not stopped Leo from embracing the #fixedlife and cycling as a means of transport and staying fit, but also as a pathway to more freedom and independence. As an inspiration to many, we had a great time picking his brain about his future competitive cycling plans, partnership with Crust bikes, and cycling opinions. Furthermore, we delved deeper into his unique situation as a one-legged cyclist and touched upon topics of inclusion in the cycling community, being differently-abled (i.e. physically/mentally impaired), and the benefits of effective urban planning and infrastructure.
Like Leo said: Simple answer, take your bike and ride! Look I’m gonna show ya!
